I've been missing from here for about 20 months, it seems. Where does the time go? To be fair, for a lot of that time I've been absent from Postcrossing as well. I notice that in one of my previous posts I referred to having sent and received 70 cards, well now that total is around 120 so I am going to have to miss quite a few out.

NL3292515 A view of IJmuiden in The Netherlands. Sent by user Korf, (who is the No1 postcrosser in the Netherlands with more than 12,000 sent cards) this one took 5 days to reach me.
DE4898373 Multiple views of the Erzebirge area. Sent by user fom5 who is an active postcrosser with more than 2,000 sent cards. This one travelled 678 miles in 4 days.
And on the same day I also received DE4898393 - this lovely oversize card showing the cathedral at Speyer-am-Rhein. I have driven down this side of the Rhine quite a few times so I'm sure I have driven past this impressive building. Sent by user Spira64 (another active user with more than 4,700 cards sent) this one travelled 526 miles in 4 days.
FR634611 from user toutichat in France. (100 sent cards) this is a picture of the 3-masted schooner "La Cancalaise". Took 6 days to travel 308 miles.
